Employment Status: Part-time (13 hrs.)
Monday 8:00AM-4:00PM
Saturday 7:00PM-12:00AM
   
Responsibilities Include: Assisting and teaching developmentally delayed individuals independent life skills including house maintenance, vehicle maintenance, personal hygiene, cooking, community involvement, data collection and documentation and an implementation of ISP goals.
   
Basic Requirements: *6 months experience in this field.
*Approved driving record and use of personal vehicle.
*Demonstrated ability to interact with and motivate individuals with limited verbal ability.
*Demonstrated experience with successful implementation of behavioral programs.
*Valid certifications including First Aid, CPR, CPI and MAP.
   
Special Requirements: *Able to handle physical requirements of working with individuals in wheelchairs.
*Able to handle animals and assist individual in trips to The Humane Society (cats).
   
Compensation: $11.65 (with MAP certification), or as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
